Actually, I don't think this is a cut down sword blade, the configuration of the fullers would seem pointless on a longer blade, and the scabbard looks to be made for it. The hilt I agree is more problematical. Nevertheless, could this be a genuine Omani or possibly East African freak based on an imported blade? - the first known "dancing dagger"?
