I hope this is a better picture.
At this moment I only have this one.
As soon as I have more available, I will post it.
Ooops, it didn't work out, I will try again later.

it's either 1872 or 1842, but I tend to think it was 1872 ... the rest seems arabic
(I am native indonesian)

Arabic may be ... but certainly no more than the alphabet
excepted if it's a mention related to Islam,
at that moment it's will be in Arabic

otherwise ... like in Malaysia for instance they was using the "jawi " until mid of 20th
and the "jawi" is Arabic alphabet, but with some extra letters who have been added ...
so, this is for a local language
all the best

Question Better photo

Todat I received a photo of the complete inscription. Can anybody tell me what it means? The '1872' now looks like 1892 or does in mean something else?

yes, indeed, nice pic to read
at side the date, only one (1) word is intelligible at least in Arabic
- MOHAMED
no way from our side to go more than that

Question

Is there anyone else who can help me with the rest of the text?
If you cannot decipher the text but recognize the type of script, it also would be very helpful!
