Southern India?

The decoration on the dagger looks similar to

I believe that this decoration is charachteristic for Lahore, but I need some time to look in the books to prove it

Well, I've looked in books, and I think, olikara is right about Rajasthan attribution. In 'Splendour des Armes Orientales' and in 'Rites of Power' there are similar daggers. Anyway, it is definitely not from southern India.
(But I still believe, that the arms in my links are from Lahore

)
