Looks Burmese or Thai to me.
 (Or, possibly, Yunnan.)Materials (brass and ivory). Wire work at the bolster. Cylindrical bolster/guard. "Fretwork" at back end of bolster (has a Chinese/Yunnan "flavor"). Blade profile vaguely consisent with my proposed origin, but the fullering isn't so much. |
