Default kerislike object

This is not about a keris but more a kerislike object. Its origin was Surabaja or around Surabaja. It came in 1946 to the Netherlands (that's something I'm certain about).
It's text is part of the twelfth sura from the Quran. It's "woodwork" is very raw but that's exacly had it came to the Netherlands. I myself thinks that's some kind of Jimat, but I'm not sure.
Has anyone seen something like this before or recognizes it?
Thank you, Sjors
