I have a question that perhaps Albert himself can offer insight in to or those more learned in Keris than I.
Page 64, figure 205, a Keris Panjang from the Williem Van Der Post's collection seen in Traditional Weapons of the Indonesian Archipelago. Are other type of this Panjang known? I ask as the hilt appears to be that of a Jono from Batak Sumarta. Is this a Panjang specific to the regions of Batak? Gavin Last edited by SwordsAntiqueWeapons; 1st September 2013 at 08:44 PM. |
