Hi,

To make some cash flow and to invest in new machinery for restorework I will sell my swords that are outside my Borneo collection so the Timorese and Celebes swords are leaving. :shrug:

Its still possible to buy good old mandaus for a reasonable price.
Its like buying a car there's a lot of space between Lada or Rolls.
not everyone can pay the high prices for the swords listed...

On one of my mandau's the blade on some places shows a pamorlike structure.I didn't see at others that and don't know how to call it.

the blade has very nice scrollwork (and a repair) the scabbard has also the same knots as a "real" one.

this type of blade is quite common in Banjar (South Borneo)
I've also seen a mandau with this type of blade and I have a sword from Banjar with this type of blade.
