Thumbs up Trumbash envy it exists

It goes on, unusual Trumbash. The edges are blades, 42.5cm so Freddy still has the biggest trumbash just not so sharp.

Yep, I'm green with envy. Good piece, Tim.
I especially like the nails on the bottom of the handle. These are mostly found on older pieces.

I found a pic in a book on sickle knives. According to my (humble) opinion, your 'trumbash' resembles the knife on the bottom left (n° 71). Here is the pic :



And what about a piece I recently found in a shop in Brussels. It's quite small (total length only 19cm). It looks a bit like the one on the bottom right corner.
There's only 1 nail for decoration. The former owner was probably saving for more.

My next book with Danny De Waele will be on Mangbetu sickle knife & daggers, we have one like yours with copper wires around the handle and mails at the bottom.
