I have just purchased this dagger but I am unsure of it’s exact origin. I was woundering if someone could help me identify it. I think it’s sudanese.

not Sudanese ... more likely western sahel , perhaps Manding .

Always easier to tell if we can see the whole dagger sans sheath. Nice leatherwork. Mandinka based on the leather is possible.
