Pesh Kabz FS
Very solid and with a tough blade. I did some mild cleaning a while back and was impressed with the hardness of the steel. I've restored many blades from throughout South Asia with both wootz and pattern welded steel. I tested it with a new file and it didn't cut, only mild scratches. This was tough to clean.
There are some mild evidence of patterning, but I haven't etched it to attempt to bring out a pattern. The grip appears to be bone, and is solid and tight with no apparent flaws. Overall length from pommel finial/lanyard fitting is 14 inches. The width of the blade at the bolster is just a bit under one and a quarter inches. Blade thickness at the bolster is a quarter inch. $300.00 plus shipping and insurance. NO PAYPAL! Postal money orders preferred, personal checks OK once they clear. |

This is a very well made knife, sturdy, without frills, but all business.
It has a very nice heft and balance. The only reason I'm selling this is to finance a new purchase. |
