Thumbs up Another stone club.

I have traded many items for this and a couple of other clubs. Boy it hurt a bit, but hey look- nice, nice, nice!!!! Native North American. 70 cm long. The stone is roughly 14cm long x 5cm and x 5cm at the smaller end and 8cm at the fat end. It sems to me to be a kind of granite.

I know next to nothing about it, but I like it and don't see any obvious signs of fakery.

Any idea as to a tribal attribution? Perhaps a positive ID on the stone type could give some insight into a geographical area.

Fake? Maybe. You've got to swing the thing to find out. I have no clue who made it.

I could take your front door out with it. The disc club I post just the other day did fly off, so clearly it needs a spacer and some binding. The form of this club is often associated with the plains. That could be a very large part of the USA and Canada.
