I think you are right, Alexander,
Though there are very few clear criteria for dating, the tapering muzzle section can be found on some other ca. 1500 bronze barrels. Best, Michael |

Here are some more sliding touchhole covers on ca. 1520's multibarrel firearms from a hitherto unknown Nuremberg manuscript of the 1520's.
