does anybody know any information about this barrel? Especially I whant to know opinion of Michael :)

I think that it was made in obout 1510

I think you are right, Alexander,

Though there are very few clear criteria for dating, the tapering muzzle section can be found on some other ca. 1500 bronze barrels.

Here are some more sliding touchhole covers on ca. 1520's multibarrel firearms from a hitherto unknown Nuremberg manuscript of the 1520's.

Reposted please also note details of my ca. 1540 four-barrel Landsknecht mace.
