I´m green with envy!! You are very lucky men!! In Spain is very very difficult to find Fairs or Shows of this type, sometimes we can find fairs with custom knives but not fot ethnographic arms.
Please, if someone take pictures post them. Best regards carlos |

I would also like to thank Artzi and Avner for hosting this wonderful event. It truly isn't often when collectors can gather and receive such a wide assortment of information in one evening. And if you think about all the lectures we have had over the many years it continues to prove to be a tremendous source of information and hands on experience. Mark Bowditch did a fine presentation on dha where he has really put time and energy into the history of dha. Then a most interesting lecture on SE Asian Elephant fighting arts. Artzi made a neat presentation about the Lombard collection and has continued a near 75 year debate by actually having two examples from this collection at the show. How often do you get to look at 7th century material. Or was it.................?

Phil hit the nail on the head.
All the talks were well organized and very informative. Mark, I'd love a copy of your presentation. WOW!!...and the Sikhs!...talk about getting the crowd pumped! I wanted to just get up and start clanging swords and shields with the folks at my table!! Thanks again to Artzi and Avner! Last edited by CharlesS; 25th March 2010 at 05:41 PM. |
