In my society your name is uncommon, not to say unknown, but the form I used is quite common, in fact we have a chain of cake shops, started by a man whom I knew perhaps 35 years ago, who spelt his name as I spelt yours in error. I will try not to err again. Alan. |

Many thanks for your suggestion. I already ordered a suitable planar hilt/mendak from Java. I must admit that I so far only have very little knowledge of keris hilts and hilt styles. I started keris collecting last December and concentrated my interest on the blades first ... Regards, Heinz |

Sorry Michel, too late. I've already made a damascus blade for that handle. I still need to heat treat it and mount it, but finished it will be a kard-like knife, that I may use as a steak knife.
