But what about all the pores and pockmarks there ?
Wouldn't filler finish off smooth ?

Some older cements didn't and it depends on the cement.

My guess is N. Indian mid-early 20th century. Phallic (?) grip added later perhaps as well as the brass blade decoration.

Kino, BBJW pegged it.
Its an early to mid 20th century decorative blade, allied at a later date to a walkingstick handle of similar era. The filled hole was wear the cane was fitted into the handle. Spiral |
