Default Any ideas on this one?

Hi All --

Just won another mystery ebay knife that I'd like to know the origins of, if possible. According to the seller the handle inlay is MOP not plastic.

Interesting knife. Looks like it has at least a bit of age to it. I'm really just guessing here, but something about the hilt construction lead me to believe it is more likely to have a European (or even American) origin than an "Arabian" one.
Love that "poison pill" hideaway pommel.

Hi CourseEight,
The handle , looks to me, 'alien' to the piece. I think the handle is a later addition. The blade and crossguard look to be original.

Reminds me of an old Swedish fishing knife like a Mora or something similar.
