Unusual Pedang with Turkish twistcore blade

Hello,

I remember reading that in the 1500s Suleiman the Magnificent sent military aid to the Aceh Sultanate in his fight against the Portuguese. Maybe a bit early for the classical yataghan blade, but this shows that Ottoman imports are possible.

IS the grip silver and gold? IT is chased and filigree with a possible gold wash. Love the rows of twistcore.

VERY INTERESTING AND ATTRACTIVE. CONGRADULATIONS. PERHAPS SOME GREEK INFLUENCE IN THE DESIGN AS THE ONES ON THE GOLD COLORED FITTINGS LOOK LIKE OCTOPUS TO ME.
