Hi Steve,
Thanks for your reply! I've got a few older horn handles that are really dry. I've been using ren wax on them but it does not seem to do much as far as keeping them from drying out more. ![]() Robert |

I have heard of lanolin in hand creams, and of course am aware of mineral oil, but is lanolin available as just a pure oil or cream by itself??...and if so where and by what name or brand?? Thanks for any help.

i got a tube of pure lanolin from the pharmacist at the local boots (chemist/drug store). by product of wool production, it's a very thick yellowish white grease with the consistency of vaseline.
