I agree with Alam Shah description, but would also like to see some detail photos. Is the hilt old ivory? What is the length of the blade alone? I could be wrong, but it looks like the tip of this keris may have been reshaped at one time, shortening the blade. I like the general look of this ensemble except for the selut which, as Shahrial points out, seems out of place. Unfortunately, the hilt was probably cut to fit this selut, so just removing it is probably not an option.

From the picture the (wood ?) Solo hilt seems a low quality work. It's a mix of the veiled woman (durga?) and the woman hilt in the collection of Solo Kraton. The selut is probabily nice but ... is a "non sense" together this hilt. Please try to change the hilt with a classic Solo hilt (properly cut at the base).
(In my opinion classic Solo with a fine selut is the most fashionable keris hilt ![]() The top of the blade seems to be cut and pointed again in a second time |
