Robert, I've never heard them called anything but a bolo. I have a couple similar to yours. I love the grip shape. Very comfortable in the hand.

Hi Steve, Thanks for the reply. Yes, I agree that the shape of these handles make for a very comfortable and secure grip. What I was hoping to find out is if they have any other designation other than just bolo, like the tabak does. I too have a couple more with grips like this and am always looking for more to add to the collection.
