the top picture suggests the blade is hollow ground ? The tip is unusual..... it appears to be a conical point? never seen this before ![]() ![]() |

Hello,
This looks like a kard, but the scroll work reminds me of some new Afghan pieces being made. This type of re-inforced tip is seen on modern pieces as well. The old ones would have a smooth thikening towards the tip, not this abrupt cut. There is a discussion of these Afghan pieces on IKRHS Regards, Emanuel |
