Default Copenhagen

Thanks for the suggestions. I should have posted the question sooner. The weather was pretty bad in Denamrk this week, I was lucky just to get back from visiting friends in the Jutland in time for my return flight. However the business part of the trip went well and so it is likely I will be returning. Anyway, I did get to the Tøjhusmuseet which has a very excellent (though somewhat disorganized) collection of Europen weapons...so many wheel lock pistols in one collection..I swoon.

Thanks very much for the info Jens and Ham. That is indeed regretful news about Skafte. While his prices were often pretty staggering, he also typically had some of the most esoteric and hard to find references, and I am grateful to him for providing those resources even if expen$ive!!
All the best,
Jim

Default Steen Strømberg, Denmark has passed

I've been informed that Steen Strømberg, Danish collector and dealer, has passed. I don't know exactly when. Most of the collection went through Bonhams.

Default Skafte

Skafte passed away appr. 12 years ago. I had the opportunity to buy some books from his daughter and she told me, that his collection of Indonesia weapons has been sold as well.
