One can find real Khevsuri swords from time to time ( most are fakes, of course!), but a real Georgian one is a rarity.
Do you happen to have Georgian palash, or a "skirted" one , or (dare I imagine!) saber ? The Eliarov's and Puruntsuzov's sabers leave Assadollah's creations in the dust..... Perhaps, the most beautiful, functional and elegant sabers ever created. I missed one couple of years ago and still wake up sobbing from time to time ![]() Can you post other Caucasian weapons you have? By the way, have you done Parikaoba? Is it still practiced ( not for real, but as a martial art)? Best wishes! |
