Given recent prices for ivory-hilted kris this one was a relative steal.
![]() More in keeping with how these swords were valued a year or two ago. Maybe the mislabeling of this piece and the current depressed market in swords kept it from going higher. Like rhysmichael I had a small flutter on this one but did not come close. I did pick up its companion from the same dealer: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=005&item=150028410870 I think mine has some age although it needs a little care and attention. Yeah I did see them both. Just not interested (actually don't have the money
![]() The first kris seems to be of a more recent time with possible exception of blade and wranga. The second I will have to do some digging (not with the kris though ![]() |
