Mongol Dogpa knife?

the first 4 pics show how it (it was sold described as a Mongolian knife ) looked like and the other 3 after I did some cleaning.
Material is wood, steel and decorations in silver, sadly no Citipati ( skull) on it

FYI: I have seen them also described as coming from Nepal, Buthan and Tibet,
like the first one in this thread
