Hi Ian,

The blade received a polish from my deceased friend Robert since the tang was broken and Robert welded the break. See the attached pic. And I am pretty sure that it is the original scabbard, the fit is perfect but I polished the brass mounts a little bit up in front recently. See the pics in post #1 from the seller also.
