I HAVE A LARGE ONE MUCH LIKE YOUR BIGGEST ONE MINE IS 27 LONG AND 9 5/8IN WIDE. I WONDER WHY THEY ARE MADE LIKE THAT? THEY SEEM TOO AWKWARD FOR FIGHTING PERHAPS THERE IS A WAY TO USE THEM AS A SHIELD OR PERHAPS TO COOK PANCAKES OVER THE CAMP FIRE
I MAY HAVE A KNIFE LIKE YOUR SMALLER ONE AROUND HERE SOMEWHERE BUT WILL HAVE TO LOOK FOR IT. CONGRADULATIONS THEY ARE BOTH VERY NICE EXAMPLES.

Mine is a total of 20 inches and at that size I reckon it works very well as a weapon. Not so good for pan cakes but maybe drop scones as we called them in Scotland. Where I spent much of my formative years. I am not a Scot though. I can remeber being proded in the back at school and called a Saxanac, but I rather fancied Moragan.
