IMVHO, garap seems to fall short of any traditional Tanah Jawa standards. Thus, it might be tough to ascertain any origin. The pamor seems to be surface-manipulated mlumah. Regards, Kai |

It is well & truly outside of any standard form that I recognise, it is the combination of characteristics that is a sticking point for me, they just don't fit together. The pamor is surface manipulated mlumah, however, I do feel that an in-hand examination would indicate that it has some age. |
