I'd welcome advice on the origins of these two knives, please. Unfortunately I only have these images:
The first knife is about 7 inches long, with a leather sheaf. I understand the hilt is bone. The second knife is a little shorter and the sheaf (wooden underneath) has a separate round compartment. Thanks. |

Your Top one is a Cretan typical hunting knife. Most come with an engraved Greek message on the blade. (mine below) Yours looks like an older version.
Your Bottom one is a Celanese (Sri Lanka) Pia Kaetta, a knife carried by royal courtiers. |
