Funny.
It seems not only the same mark, but also the same die. Danish captured by Prussian, Austrian captured by Prussian? Were these in service in 1864 and 1866? The German states of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt and Schwarzburg-Sondershausen continued to use the double-headed eagle as well until they were abolished shortly after the First World War, and so did the Free City of Lübeck until it was abolished by the Nazi government in 1937. Many thanks for your answer, but Schwarzburg and Lübeck are not the only to use a double headed eagle, there are lots more.
