The grip looks nothing like the before photos other than being three parts, well done!
The grinding marks on the blade can be removed with stoning using a soft coarse stone that disintegrates quickly. I have white ones that do a great job and quickly conform to the blade shape which is good for following the edge. Once stoned you will not see the grind marks, keeps the contour and blends in nicely. |

I have coarse stones ( 600 and 1000 ) and will try to remove it when I'll have some free time ![]() I find the blade has a shamshir shape , european blades are usually thicker or larger near the tip like hussard swords... but didn't saw shamshir with double fullers... Local made blade ? Indo persian blade with llater local made fullers witn the sun engravings ?... |
