I like it! Pieces in this condition always intrigue me. Not so bad as a soil find but it obviously has been exposed to the elements some. Where has it been for the last 400 years?

I think he stayed in the ground, but not too long. Probably in a dry attic. It is an insulated helmet that I bought at auction.
