Beja shield with battle scars

Hello Ron, this is nice group. The shield remembers a lot, for sure, it has interesting original repairs. Maybe they repaired the damages caused during the active duty of such shields by iron stitches, while the damages caused during the production, when the shield was still soft, by leather stitches, that times ?
(I like such groupings- I hope you don´t mind adding mine of the same etnic gropups, it was posted some time ago...)
