Default Snuff? Container, Request for Information

Is this bottle for snuff? Country of origin?
The cap is threaded and a dark hardwood.
Doesn't look Chinese to me, but it's not my field of expertise. Thanks

Does not look Chinese to me. More North African/Middle Eastern. The metal design resembles quite closely that on some Moroccan powder flasks.(Pic attached) Also does not look to be very old as the metal is quite thin and not fitting that well.
Is the flask hollow right to the bottom? What is body made of? Bone/Ivory??

I THINK KHJANJAR 1 has it >>>based on the Floral scroll design The stone turquoise looks like it may be a glass bead.
