Hi Fernando,
Soak parts in WHITE VINEGAR.....I use ONLY white vinegar and neutralise with hot water, then spray with CRC 556, after rubbing with domestic PLASTIC dishwash pad.

GREAT JOB !!!! The photo of the inside of the lock looked like it had cobwebs !!
Wonderful before and after restoration. Looked like it had been sitting in the corner of a garage for many years. LOL But turned out well. Congrats.

Has the integrity of the barrel been compromised? Could you fire it?

Hi Will,
The barrel is very thick wall so probably COULD be fired (with caution), however I do not intend to try.
