Hunting swords with fitted with game counters

Interesting; i wouldn't realize game counters have been so sophisticated and appendix to swords mounts. This because i thought i had seen it all, the other day, at a local antiquary.The device was a brass pocket one, with points for counting the number of game caught. If i recall, it was a French example.
