in my opinion are both "original", what Alan has written in #2 by this thread: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...ighlight=sajen is legal also for kujangs. The first one you have shown seems to be much older as the second example which is very nice with it's mounts, a very nice example. When you boring it one day you can send it to me! ![]() ![]() The metal cover will be some sort of german silver, I would rule out aluminium. Regards, Detlef |

Has the metal been tested to see if it is silver? It looks like silver to me. The common metal that looks like silver is mamas, but judging the thickness of this metal from the hole in it, it is too thin for mamas.
