To bad there are not better images of the blade...wouldnt it be more of a jambiya since it is single curved?

It is only my opinion, but a more appropriate name for the Ottoman region vs Arabian peninsula region as the dagger blade in the link and its sheath is from the region of Turkey...specifically, it would be called a hancer.
