David is right.
And the word "punal" is a Spanish word that generically means "knife". This word was later borrowed by Filipinos from the Spanish and applied along side other local tribal dialect words for the same thing. However, this is a Moro kris, a type of Moro (south Muslim Philippines) sword, and they did not use the word punal. |
