ID on these 2 weapons
Sorting through more of my heap I came across these 2 items which are from parts of the world that are not familiar to me . The long almost Khyber dagger is 48 cm long in total and has what I would think is a spurious '1677' mark on the back edge of the blade . The smaller item is 24 cm overall and seems to be a spear head having a hollow handle . The handle is a metal socket bound rather nicely with leather , the scabbard is wooden. Any help would be appreciated .

The dagger looks African. The sword is a mystery. It is similar in some respects to an Afghan khyber knife, but the blade is all wrong. Interesting pieces. Thanks for sharing.

The longer piece - the leather work makes me think of a Scottish dirk, perhaps an attempt at a recreation by someone?
The shorter piece, should be from SE Asia, I'm sure a member will be along shortly with an exact ID. I've seen these before just can't recall the tribal attribution! |

The knife / spear with hollow handle and open sheath is Philippine Igorot (mountain people); more to be found here
The other dagger seems to suggest vernacular Scottish or an attempt at same; surely worth investigating, unfortunately forgeries are abundant. |

The dagger with the hollow handle is a hinalung from the Igorot people, Luzon, Philipines.
The dirk looks Scottish to me. Very nice one. |
