Nice one David, possibly an issued blade, the Gurkhas wore many different types of kukri in WW2
1/2 GR having a pre-kukri inspection before General Montgomery inspected and talked to the men. |

Upon further inspection it turns out that the belt loop isn't! It is the cover for the "tinder pouch" but sewn down permanently rather than tied or buttoned. A bit of an oddity, has anyone else seen similar.
