Some kukri

Yes, hollow forged .
A thin steel plate at the butt with what looks like a cut nail holding it in place .
For splitting a chicken in the kitchen it's incomparable .

I reckon the two pieces are very early 20th C.

I reckon you're right on the age of the kukri, love the way you use it in the kitchen
