Hi Carlos. I guess it is possible it is older, but i'd say unlikely. These blades were made as souvenirs for returning GIs from the war. Often the blades were made of scape metal for the war as this one appears to be. The blade and sheath do have a nice appearance though and frankly, from a historical point of view at least, i believe these weapons should be collected and maintained.
