I'm sure JW can give better answers but my understanding was that they are ceremonial knives - from the Congo and occur among a few peoples in the same area (quick Google turns up Yanzi, Nguli, Lwer, or Dzing peoples).
Interesting items for sure, particularly the brass blade - haven't seen one like that before. ![]() |

Another three typical knives of the Ngul / Dinga. First one has an iron blade, both the others have copper blades.
