Two More Chinese Swords Available For Sale
As I conclude liquidating my Chinese sword collection to concentrate on Islamic and SE Asian blades, I have two more fine and unique pieces for sale here, and two lesser pieces listed on Ebay.
Shown below are: 1. A short sword perhaps from the minority Naxi people of SW China. The sword shows a very unique combination of Tibetan style "hairpin" damas, and a more typically Chinese "horse tooth" inserted edge. The sword has been professionally polished by one of our forumites. Please email me for more pics or details. 2. A Chinese short jian with hidden blade. Excellent condition overall, but blades could use a polish. Nice horn hilt. Do not confuse this piece with the reproductions coming out of China today. Again please email me for more pics or details. The short dao at the top is sold. The jian with hidden blade is available.
