Opinion about dagger

For comparison, here is a very similar knife in my collection, a Katipunan Officer's Dagger, probably from the Batangas region of the Philippines, circa revolution of 1889-1902. Unlike the officers who carried blades of this type, rank and file members of Katipuna typically carried a bolo tabak (machete).

This knife is 14 inches in overall length. The diamond cross-section blade is 9.5 inches long. Brass guard. The dark hilt is turned kamagong or carabao horn and inlaid with twisted brass wire. The scabbard is leather, in fine condition, with silver mounts.
