Good day every body
yesterday I bought from Paris auction's house (Hotel Drouot) a complete set, of a "shamshir" metal parts ... in suit: - pommel - crossed-guard - rings bands x2 - chape according with the decor, I guess it's Qadjar (Persia) late 18th or early 19th C. without damaging the "patina", I cleaned up a little bite, and here we are ![]() now, I will see if; - I keep it, in case of I found a beautiful "Johar" blade otherwise - may be I will sale it the Shamshir with me in need of refurbishing, even if it's good, hasn't the "class" to be embellished with such mount ![]() à + Dom |
