Montino, I can understand that there's a little bit of fun here, but one of those keris is the real thing, and the other , although a tourist souvenir was thought by the giver to be real.

The dress is totally beside the point:- the essence of any keris rests in the blade, from an esoteric point of view the dress is of no account at all.

Within keris belief the giving of a keris is something that is regarded very seriously, and it is an extremely precious gift, regardless of the type or value of the keris. Many people hold the belief that if you receive 7 gift keris you become invincible in your chosen field.

Possibly we may be able to look at the gifts of your friend as a demonstration of respect on his part, and two steps towards invincibility for you, rather than as objects of fun.
