For sale, a loose scabbard for the 1908 cavalry sword.
Scabbard is painted green. Near the throat of the scabbard in 2 or 3 layers as at that place the paint would wear off during use. 90% of the paint still there. Markings near throat 876 and 9 no other marking visible. As this scabbard comes from Aussie land, the numbers may refer the 9th LHR ....876 Private Cyril Thomas ROBERTS, a 19 year old Station Hand from Adelaide, South Australia. He enlisted on 26 November 1914; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 2 August 1919... Asking Usd 175 incl worlwide shipping. or a swap for Atjeh or Borneo weapons/items. |
